Exploring a few different ideas for a new #dataviz project and thought I’d see what CSHoggard ’s code would do to a photo this iconic Edinburgh building. I really like the effect. Anyone recognise it?

An image of St Columba's Free Church building in Edinburgh, where the colours have been sampled an approximated into small circles. It looks like an impressionist painting.

Playing with the sample size, here it is again with a number of dots that is closer to the number of people that make up the congregation. Definitely less recognisable, but a fun image nonetheless!
