The white line graph against a sky-blue background is made to resemble the lines left by planes in the sky. The line drops suddenly in April 2020 and slowly makes its way back towards the bottom of its initial range mid 2022.
The text reads:
The number of flights arriving at Paris Charles De Gaulle went from an average of over 650 a day to 43 at the start of April 2020. Suddenly, being “just a flight away” was no source of comfort. This simple graph is an ode to the friends and families who found themselves unpredictably separated during the pandemic.
